Drone attack sinks cargo ship in Bulgaria's Black Sea waters; Zelensky blames Russia
On October 6, drones attacked two civilian cargo vessels in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea. One, ALFA WATAN, sank; the other, ABLE, caught fire and its 18 crew were evacuated onto a Bulgarian ferry. Ukrainian President Zelensky said the strike was a Russian combined attack using sea and aerial drones, the first known drone attack on ships in Bulgaria's economic zone.
