Crown Princess Mette-Marit
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway is the wife of Crown Prince Haakon and the mother of the heir to the Norwegian throne, Prince Sverre Magnus. Born Mette-Marit Høiby, she married into the Norwegian royal family in 2001 and works on charitable causes, particularly those related to youth and social issues. Before her marriage she had a son, Marius Borg Høiby, who has been the subject of criminal investigations in Norway.
