Finland and Norway leaders call Putin, say Russia is serious about Abu Dhabi talks
Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre spoke by phone with Vladimir Putin on October 27 about ending the war in Ukraine. After the 90-minute call — which was initially planned to last 20 minutes — they told President Volodymyr Zelenskyy they believed Russia was serious about the planned trilateral meeting of technical teams in Abu Dhabi. Zelenskyy said the meeting's final date depends on the United States, whose attention is focused on the Middle East.
