Russia strikes Kyiv twice with ballistic missiles overnight, hitting Pivdenyii Bridge and metro infrastructure
Russian forces launched two waves of ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv on the evening of 26 October and around 3:30 a.m. on 27 October. The evening attack killed a 46-year-old woman and injured 10 people, mostly students, after a missile struck a university dormitory. The second wave hit the Pivdenyii Bridge and damaged above-ground metro infrastructure, disrupting traffic and train services before both were restored.
