Civilians evacuated from occupied Oleshky reach Ukraine after mediated mission
Civilians evacuated from the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson region have crossed into Ukraine after traveling by bus to Anapa, flying by four aircraft to Gomel, and continuing through the Nova Huta crossing. The operation followed a local humanitarian ceasefire mediated by US First Lady Melania Trump. Officials did not publish an exact number of evacuees because of difficulties verifying the data.
