European Parliament
The European Parliament is the directly elected legislative branch of the European Union, representing the citizens of the EU member states. Together with the Council of the EU it adopts EU legislation, supervises the budget and exercises democratic oversight over the other EU institutions. Its official seat is in Strasbourg, with additional premises in Brussels and Luxembourg.
