Nighttime strike hits Sasta plant and Yandex data center in Russia's Ryazan Oblast
A nighttime attack on October 8 caused a fire on the territory of the Sasta machine-building plant in Sasovo, Ryazan Oblast. The plant shares its site with a Yandex data center, and the hit triggered wide-scale outages across Yandex Cloud services. Ukrainian sources say the strike was carried out by Ukraine's Defense Forces.
