Yabloko party
Yabloko is a Russian liberal opposition political party founded in 1993. The party advocates democratic reforms, the rule of law, protection of human rights and a pro-Western foreign policy orientation for Russia. Its founder and longstanding leader is Grigory Yavlinsky. Yabloko has repeatedly contested parliamentary elections but has rarely cleared the threshold for representation in the State Duma.
