SpaceX imposes unannounced speed cap on Starlink military service for Ukraine
In the night of October 14, SpaceX restricted the operation of Starlink terminals for Ukrainian military users, limiting the military "StarShield" service to roughly 100 mph (around 160 km/h). Ukrainian forces were not informed of the change, and several combat missions were disrupted. Ukrainian officials and volunteers publicly linked the move to the political pressure from the Trump administration over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
