WTA
The WTA (Women's Tennis Association) is the principal organizing body of women's professional tennis worldwide. Founded in 1973 by Billie Jean King, it governs the WTA Tour and its tiers of tournaments, including WTA 1000, WTA 500, WTA 250 events and the WTA Finals.
