World Health Summit

The World Health Summit is an annual international conference on global health held in Berlin since 2009. It is organized by the M8 Alliance, a consortium of leading academic medical universities and research institutions, together with the World Health Organization. The summit brings together policymakers, scientists, physicians and industry representatives to discuss pressing health issues, including pandemic preparedness and health system strengthening. The event traditionally takes place under the patronage of the German Chancellor and with the participation of heads of international organizations.
