World Evangelical Alliance

The World Evangelical Alliance is an international umbrella organization of evangelical churches and associations, founded in 1846 in London. It is headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada, and serves as one of the oldest and most inclusive global evangelical bodies, representing several hundred million evangelical Christians in more than 130 countries. The WEA engages with the United Nations, the World Council of Churches, and governments on issues of religious freedom, humanitarian aid, and theological dialogue.
