WHO in Ukraine
The WHO Country Office in Ukraine is the Ukrainian representation of the World Health Organization, a United Nations specialized agency. It works to strengthen Ukraine's public health system, respond to disease outbreaks, and support health-care delivery, including in areas affected by the war. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the office has supplied medicines and equipment to hospitals and coordinated international medical assistance.

Russian drone strikes hit warehouses in Odesa Oblast, damaging WHO medical storage
Russian drone strikes on warehouse facilities in Odesa Oblast on 22 September caused large-scale fires, killing one person, injuring two, and damaging a World Health Organization warehouse in Chornomorsk that stored temperature-controlled medical supplies. WHO said it was the fourth time in three months that this particular warehouse was hit and the 21st strike on medical storage facilities in 2026.
