High Council of Justice
The High Council of Justice is the judicial governance body in Ukraine responsible for forming judicial panels, appointing and dismissing judges, and overseeing their compliance with professional ethics. Its status is set out in Chapter VIII of the Constitution and the Law on the High Council of Justice. It is headed by a Chair and includes judges, legal scholars and public representatives.
