Ukrainian Air Force
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a separate branch of the Ukrainian military responsible for air defence and aviation. It is led by a Commander who reports to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and combines fighter, bomber, transport and army aviation with anti-aircraft missile and radio-technical troops. Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the branch has regularly reported intercepts of Russian drones and cruise missiles.
