Zelensky appoints Anton Kovalsky as acting Prosecutor General
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decree №946/2026 appointing Anton Kovalsky, formerly head of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast Prosecutor's Office, as acting Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The appointment fills the post vacated by Ruslan Kravchenko, who was dismissed by the Verkhovna Rada on 15 September with 317 votes in favor after weeks of tension with anti-corruption investigators and the president.
