Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Issues
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Issues is a standing committee of the Ukrainian parliament responsible for reviewing the draft state budget and overseeing its implementation. Ukraine's government submits 2027 draft budget to parliament with two-thirds of spending on defense
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft State Budget for 2027 on the evening of September 15 and registered it in the Verkhovna Rada as bill No. 16000. The draft projects 5.65 trillion hryvnias in revenues and 7.27 trillion hryvnias in expenditures, with 66.8% of spending allocated to security and defense, and an international assistance requirement of $52.6 billion.
