USM
USM is a Russian private holding company that brings together assets in metallurgy, mining, telecommunications and digital technologies. It was founded by the Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov together with partners. The company is headquartered in Moscow. USM controls, among other things, the Metalloinvest metallurgy and mining holding and holds stakes in the mobile operator MegaFon and the internet company VK (formerly Mail.ru).
