NATO's top Europe commander urges more aid for Ukraine, unveils 'Theory of Victory' to deter Moscow
NATO's top military commander in Europe, General Alexus Grinkevich, used the Warsaw Security Forum to call on European allies to increase support for Ukraine in response to intensifying Russian hybrid attacks, and presented a 'Theory of Victory' outlining how NATO would rapidly repel a Russian attack on its territory using drones, AI and existing assets such as F-35 fighters. He said Russia is trying to break Western 'collective will' through airspace violations, arson, sabotage and cyberattacks, named Denmark and Germany as countries that stepped up Ukraine aid after hybrid incidents on their soil, and offered to publicly name Russia as responsible for hybrid attacks if a member state asks. He argued that, despite growing European political opposition and 2027 elections, support for Ukraine will remain central to European security.
