Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are a separate branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, established in 2024. They are responsible for the combat use of unmanned aerial systems and ground robotic platforms. The branch is commanded by Colonel Vadym Sukharevsky.

Ukrainian drones strike Kuibyshevsky refinery in Russia's Samara region, fire burns into next day
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck the Kuibyshevsky oil refinery in Russia's Samara region, more than 1,000 km from the launch point, with a fire still burning on September 22, 2026. Ukraine's General Staff also confirmed a simultaneous strike on the Bashneft-UNPZ refinery in Ufa.
