SpaceX restricts Starshield in motion in Ukraine; Zelensky calls it a "planned operation" after EU test
In the night of October 14, SpaceX unilaterally restricted Starshield military terminals in Ukraine while in motion, capping speeds at around 160–161 km/h. On October 17, President Zelensky said Ukraine had tested Starlink-equipped vehicles in EU countries, where they drove above 180 km/h without losing service, and concluded that the restriction is geographically limited to Ukraine and deliberate. Zelensky said Ukrainian drone-interceptors against jet-powered Shaheds are currently unable to operate, and that SpaceX has not been responding to Ukrainian military or Defence Ministry contacts.
