Ukrhydroenergo

Ukrhydroenergo is a Ukrainian state-owned hydroelectric power company and the operator of the country's largest hydroelectric power plants. It runs a cascade of stations on the Dnieper and Dniester rivers, including the Kyiv, Kaniv, Kremenchuk, Dnipro and Dniester HPPs and pumped-storage plants. The company is a major producer of electricity from renewable sources in Ukraine and plays a central role in load regulation in the integrated power grid. It is wholly owned by the state through the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
