Ukrainian General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the supreme military command body of Ukraine, responsible for strategic planning, operational leadership and coordination of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is headed by the Chief of the General Staff, who also serves as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, the General Staff has published daily updates on combat operations, losses and strike directions.

Ukraine and Russia agree local ceasefire for aid and civilian evacuation in Olekshy
Ukraine and Russia have agreed on a local ceasefire in the occupied city of Olekshy in Kherson region to deliver humanitarian aid and prepare the evacuation of civilians through a secure corridor. Ukrainian and Russian officials coordinated the details with US first lady Melania Trump. The operation is to proceed in stages, with assistance expected to include food, water, medicine and equipment for the local hospital.

Ukraine reports 1,980 Russian personnel losses in a day
Ukraine’s General Staff said Russian forces lost 1,980 personnel over the past day, along with tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, air-defense systems, drones and other equipment. The report put cumulative Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion at about 1.5766 million, while noting that the figures are subject to clarification.
