Pentagon Inspector General Rejects Senate Probe Into Starlink Restrictions in Ukraine
The Pentagon's independent inspector general declined a bipartisan request from nine US senators to investigate restrictions on Starlink and Starshield in Ukraine, referring the questions to the US Air Force. The senators wanted to know who authorized the restrictions and whether they affected intelligence sharing and threat warnings. Ukraine reported that the restrictions disrupted military missions and made it harder to intercept Russian attack drones.
