State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) is the central executive body responsible for responding to man-made, natural and social emergencies across the country. Its responsibilities include firefighting, rescue operations, disaster response and civil protection. The agency operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and is led by a Head appointed by the government.
