Ukrainian Railways
Ukrainian Railways (Ukrainian: Укрзалізниця, Ukrzaliznytsia) is the state-owned national railway company of Ukraine, operating the country's rail network and providing passenger and freight services. It reports to the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. The company is led by chairman Oleksandr Pertsovskyi.

Russian drones strike Kyiv–Warsaw train and gas station near Polish border in Volyn
On the morning of September 13, Russian drone strikes hit targets in Volyn Oblast near the Ukrainian-Polish border, including a gas station at the Yahodyn–Dorohusk crossing and the locomotive of the Kyiv–Warsaw passenger train about 2 km from the border. No passengers or railway staff were injured on the train after Ukrzaliznytsia warned the crew in advance. A separate special train carrying Western officials returning from the YES conference in Kyiv, including former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's adviser Günter Sautter, was stopped and briefly evacuated as a precaution.
