Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, commonly known as the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office, is the central body that leads the country's prosecution system. It is headed by the Prosecutor General, who is appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the nomination of the President. The office supervises observance of the laws by executive authorities, supports state prosecution in court, and represents the state in judicial proceedings. Its headquarters is in Kyiv.
