The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the central executive body responsible for implementing the state policy on foreign relations. It is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is a member of the Cabinet of Ministers. The ministry manages diplomatic relations with foreign states and international organisations, carries out consular work and represents Ukraine abroad.

White House weighs replacing Witkoff and Kushner in Ukraine talks, FT reports; White House calls report 'fake news'
The Financial Times reported that the White House is considering reducing the role of US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in negotiations with Russia and Ukraine and giving CIA Director John Ratcliffe a leading role in shuttle diplomacy. The White House publicly rejected the report as 'completely fake news', saying Trump fully trusts Witkoff and Kushner to lead the talks. Ratcliffe made an unannounced visit to Moscow on August 25, the first time a US intelligence chief personally joined diplomatic efforts to end the war.
