Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance
The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory is a government agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine tasked with shaping and implementing state policy on the restoration and preservation of the national memory of the Ukrainian people. It conducts research on Ukrainian history, including the Holodomor of 1932–1933, political repressions, and the struggle for independence, and oversees commemoration of those events. The institute also works on historical terminology, matters related to national symbols and toponyms, and public history education.
