Security Service of Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is Ukraine's domestic intelligence and law-enforcement agency, subordinated to the President and coordinated through the National Security and Defence Council. It is responsible for counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, combating organized crime and corruption, and protecting state secrets. Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the SBU has taken on a prominent role in wartime security operations.
