State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) is the central executive body responsible for civil protection, prevention and response to emergencies, fire safety and rescue operations. It operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and is headquartered in Kyiv. Its personnel are involved in dealing with the aftermath of airstrikes and other incidents linked to Russia's full-scale invasion.

Trump calls for Ukraine to elect a new president, accuses Zelensky of refusing to end the war
On October 10, US President Donald Trump publicly said it is time for Ukraine to elect a new leader capable of ending the war with Russia, accusing President Volodymyr Zelensky of being able to end the conflict "many, many times" but choosing not to. The remarks came a day after Trump announced a phone-call deal with Vladimir Putin to supply Russian diesel fuel to US and world markets, prompting sharp criticism from Zelensky and pushing ongoing Ukraine–US–Europe–NATO talks in Miami to an early end.
