US State Department approves possible $2.68 billion air defense sale to Ukraine
The US State Department approved a possible $2.68 billion sale of air defense equipment and related services to Ukraine. The package, which still requires Congressional review, would be financed through European contributions and previously allocated US Foreign Military Financing funds. The published list of requested items does not include Patriot systems or Patriot missiles.
