Trump pressures Zelenskyy to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries, citing diesel prices
During a phone call with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Donald Trump asked Ukraine to cease attacks on Russian oil refineries, citing rising global diesel prices. Zelenskyy reported an agreement to meet Trump in New York, while Ukrainian intelligence chief Rustem Umerov pointed to progress in negotiations. Zelenskyy, however, expressed skepticism that Moscow would comply with any energy ceasefire.
