United States Army
The United States Army is the land warfare branch of the United States Armed Forces and the oldest of its service branches. It is administered by the Department of the Army and headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army. Its primary mission is to conduct ground combat operations, and it also supports civilian authorities during disasters and emergencies.
