Prosecutor General Kravchenko signs suspicion against NABU director Kryvonos, Zelensky demands his dismissal
Outgoing Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced in a 14 September video address that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU director Semen Kryvonos, accusing him of forging official documents to obtain unlawful benefit and of fictitious adoption. He also said he signed a suspicion against a person close to SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko. President Volodymyr Zelensky responded that Kravchenko's only path is dismissal and asked MPs to support it immediately. NABU, SAPO and Kryvonos deny that any suspicion has been formally served, calling the move a politically driven attack on independent anti-corruption bodies.
