Russia expands air defenses around Putin’s Valdai residence to over 50 positions
Russia has built 16 additional air-defense towers within 50 kilometers of President Vladimir Putin’s Valdai residence, bringing the number of identified positions in the area above 50. Most new towers are south of the residence, facing Ukraine, and some may eventually carry Pantsir or Tor surface-to-air missile systems.
