The Ternopil Regional State Administration is the executive body of state power in Ukraine's Ternopil Oblast. It is headed by a chair nominated by the President of Ukraine and carries out executive authority at the oblast level on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Russia launches 165 drones in major overnight attack on Ukraine
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 165 strike drones, including 105 jet-propelled types, from several directions. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 115 drones by 08:00 on October 20, while impacts were reported at 30 locations and falling debris at 13. The strike killed three people and injured six in the Kyiv region, injured five in Izium in Kharkiv region, and damaged energy infrastructure in Ternopil and Odesa.
