Russian drone strikes on Kyiv bridges cause city-wide transport collapse
Russian drone strikes since October 1, 2025 have damaged the Pivdennyi (Southern) and Pivnichnyi (Northern) bridges across the Dnipro in Kyiv, closing or restricting traffic on the capital's largest crossings and triggering a transport collapse. Two people were injured on October 3. Authorities and employers are adjusting metro, rail, and work arrangements to cope with the disruption.
