Ceasefire in occupied Oleshky opens way for aid and civilian evacuation
Ukraine and Russia began a local ceasefire in occupied Oleshky at 03:00 Kyiv time on 27 October, enabling demining, humanitarian deliveries and evacuations. Aid and an evacuation from the city hospital were planned for 30 October, while the broader agreement provides for regular humanitarian operations across Kherson communities. The operation follows weeks of mediation by Melaniya Trump.
