Sibur is Russia's largest integrated petrochemical company, processing by-products of oil and gas extraction into polyolefins, plastics and synthetic rubbers. Its production facilities are concentrated in Western Siberia, close to the main feedstock sources. The company's principal shareholders include Russian businessman Leonid Mikhelson.

FP-1 drones strike Voronezhsintezkauchuk plant in Voronezh
Ukrainian defence company Fire Point confirmed that its FP-1 drones attacked the Voronezhsintezkauchuk petrochemical plant in Voronezh on 26 October 2026. OSINT analysis indicated probable damage, and smoke was visible above the plant. The strike came during a broader overnight drone attack on Russia's Voronezh region.
