Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line
The Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line is the first line of the Kyiv Metro, opened in 1960. It runs from the western residential districts of the capital through central stations and continues northeast toward Brovary. President Zelensky proposed using its stations as shelters during air raids as part of a two-tier alert system.
