Ukraine's General Staff reports 1,420 Russian soldiers lost in past day; cumulative Russian losses since invasion estimated at ~1.55 million
Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff, as reported by Ukrainian outlets on October 10, said Russia lost approximately 1,420 personnel over the past day, bringing estimated total Russian losses (killed and wounded) since the start of the full-scale invasion to about 1,550,910. The daily update also tallied equipment losses, including 4 tanks, 6 armored vehicles, 50 artillery systems and 1,591 drones, and recorded 218 combat engagements across multiple axes.
