Sumy City Military Administration
The Sumy City Military Administration is a body of military governance established in Sumy during the period of martial law in Ukraine. It coordinates the city's defense, oversees the operation of municipal infrastructure, and responds to the consequences of Russian strikes on the city. The administration is headed by a leader appointed under Ukraine's legislation on military administrations.

Russian guided bombs strike Sumy residential district, at least five injured
On the morning of October 4, Russian forces dropped five guided aerial bombs (KABs) on the Zarichnyi district of Sumy in northeastern Ukraine, damaging multi-storey residential buildings and vehicles and injuring at least five people, two of them severely. A fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility, and city authorities advised residents to close windows and limit time outdoors due to heavy smoke.
