Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

The Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (Stavka) is the highest strategic military command body of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in the opening days of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. It is chaired by the President of Ukraine in his capacity as Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Its members include the heads of the security and defence agencies, the Chief of the General Staff and other senior officials involved in making key decisions on the country's defence. Meetings of the Stavka set the strategy for combat operations, weapons procurement and mobilisation policy.
