State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control
The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control is a central executive body responsible for state policy on the quality of medicines and medical immunobiological products, and for regulating the circulation of narcotic, psychotropic substances and their precursors. It operates under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and handles licensing of pharmaceutical activity, oversight of manufacturing and pharmacy standards, and inspection of imported drugs. Its current name reflects an expanded remit over controlled substances, in addition to its long-standing medicines oversight function.
