The State Protection Service of Ukraine is a specialised law-enforcement body subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, tasked with providing physical security to state officials entitled to protection — including the President, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the Prime Minister — and with guarding the premises of state institutions. It operates as part of the Ukrainian interior ministry system.
