State Labor Service of Ukraine
The State Labor Service of Ukraine is a central body of the executive authority responsible for state policy in the areas of labour, employment, social protection from unemployment, and labour migration. It registers the unemployed, pays unemployment benefits, assists in job placement, and organises vocational training and retraining. It operates a network of regional directorates and local employment centres. Since Russia's full-scale invasion, the service has also been involved in processing the deferment from military mobilisation of workers in critical industries.
