State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is the central executive body responsible for protecting the state border of Ukraine and controlling its crossing. It reports to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The service carries out border checks at checkpoints on land, air and maritime sections of the border, counters illegal migration and smuggling, and conducts special operations along the border, including under armed conflict conditions.
