Starshield
Starshield is a military-focused version of SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet network, built for government and defense customers. It shares the underlying low-Earth-orbit satellite platform with the civilian Starlink service but is tailored to encrypted communications, Earth observation payloads, and integration with military systems. It has been contracted by the U.S. Department of Defense and is used by allied forces, including Ukraine's.
