Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office
The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO, also abbreviated SAP) is a Ukrainian prosecutorial body established in 2015 alongside the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to prosecute top-level corruption cases investigated by NABU. Its head is appointed by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine following a competitive selection. SAPO exercises procedural supervision over high-profile corruption proceedings and forms part of Ukraine's post-Maidan anti-corruption institutional framework.

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Kravchenko resigns after NABU searches expose alleged call-centre protection scheme
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko submitted his resignation on the evening of 7 September after anti-corruption investigators searched the Office of the Prosecutor General and exposed an alleged scheme to protect fraudulent call centres. The 'Carthage' operation by NABU and SAPO has led to the detention of several suspects, including Serhiy Kropyva, a deputy head of an OGP department, with bail set at 120 million hryvnia. President Zelensky said the resignation would be sent to the Verkhovna Rada.
